As seen in the before and after photos below, Beach Prisms were able to give some relief from storm damage and slow the rate of erosion by replenishing sand in front of and behind the Prisms. The advancement of living shoreline was also expanded and vegetation growth has increases. Sand has begun to build back up and the advancement of beach area has grown over time.
